/Summary
Our team were commissioned to undertake the conceptual design of a new building providing a 28 bed ward for the elderly, a 20 bed stroke unit and a 12 bed rehabilitation ward complete with all ancillary facilities. The scheme was designed in-house with all stages being undertaken from inception and formulation of the brief through to the preparation of the outline design for tendering purposes. The scheme involved working alongside the NHS regional architect. The scheme was tendered and was then let as a design and build contract undertaken by others.
